The Methodology: Future Thinking

Future thinking is a methodology that involves considering possible futures and using that thinking to inform actions in the present. This approach is based on the premise that the future is not predetermined, and that we can shape it by taking purposeful actions today. Future thinking involves examining trends, analyzing data, and anticipating scenarios that may occur. By doing so, we can identify potential challenges and opportunities, and take proactive steps to create a more desirable future.

Future thinking can help us look at the present with a different perspective by challenging our assumptions and biases. It encourages us to think beyond our current situation and consider the long-term consequences of our actions. By doing so, we can identify areas where we need to make changes to create a more sustainable and inclusive world. Future thinking can help us identify emerging trends and technologies, and anticipate how they may impact our lives and the planet. This can enable us to make informed decisions and take action before problems arise. Ultimately, future thinking can help us create a better world by providing a framework for purposeful action today.
